About Boyd Binninger: Boyd is a native of Bakersfield. He graduated from Highland High School, Bakersfield College and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Business Management from Cal Poly San Louis Obispo. He is married to Kelly and has two adult children, Bryan (Lindsey) and Annie (Eran) and one-year old twin granddaughters, Blakely and Charley. Boyd has been in commercial real estate with ASU CRE Partners for 20 years. Boyd danced the Charleston in the 7th grade at the Great Kern County Fair. More recently he was part of a cha-cha performance group. He has been taking classes at the Debonair School of Ballroom Dance for 15 years off and on. He coached JV Baseball at Highland for 5 years and was the “Voice of Scotland Yard” for 11 years. Boyd would like to thank BMT/Stars for this opportunity. About Tara Shearer: Tara has a degree in child development from California State University, Bakersfield and loves working with children. She teaches and shares her passion for dance at Civic Dance Center. For years she danced in The Nutcracker where she enjoyed playing roles like Snow Queen, Windup Doll, and Ribbon Candy. Now she enjoys being on the other side, choreographing and helping direct Civic Dance Center's annual Gala performance.VOTE FOR BOYD & TARA Back to Dancing at the Stars
