Chris & Bethany

Bethany Rowlee (L) and Chris Hoover (R)

About Chris Hoover: Born in Buffalo, NY in a barrel going over Niagra Falls (just kidding), Chris has always been a ham and had dreams of a career in performing arts. Hoover graduated as a North High Star in 1977. It was there where he met his high school sweetheart, Julie, in the marching band. They have been married for 38 years... on the way to forever! Together, Chris and his wife have 3 children: Danae, Darin and Doug. Chris spend 10 years as a McDonald's manager before becoming a firefighter with Kern County Fire Department, 33+ years. Currently, he is a captain in the thriving metropolis of Maricopa in southwest Kern County. Chris has always enjoyed performing, whether singing, participating in theatrical productions, playing instrumental music, and media work as a public information officer for the fire department. He plays trombone at Calvary Bible Church (now Resurrection Church) and with "The Bakersfield Little Big Band" (...available for gigs! Call Chris for details!). Chris' theatrical credits include performances at BMT/Stars many years ago and his high school production of Guys and Dolls. Dancing? Well, I guess we will find out.
