About Elliott Magnus: Elliott Magnus was born and raised in Bakersfield. He graduated in 1996 from Highland High School. He earned his Associate of Arts degree from Bakersfield City College, a Bachelor’s degree in history from U.C. Irvine, and his Juris Doctorate degree from Cal Western School of Law. Elliott has practiced criminal defense in Kern County for the past eight years. Elliott is the assistant head coach of Foothill High’s mock trial team. He currently serves as President of the local reform synagogue Temple Beth El, as well as, Vice-President of the Criminal Defense Section of the Kern County Bar Association. Elliott has been an avid Chicago sports fan since he was seven, he will have to explain that to you, but enjoys watching all sports, local to professional, televised or live. He was at Wrigley Field for game 5 of the 2016 World Series. In addition to sports Elliott loves going to the movies, singing to music, and attending parties! He is happiest when he can share all of those things with his friends and family, which include his nephew Magnus, his niece Smith Ellen and his dog Bruce.

About Ann Conrad: Ann has been involved in dance since a very early age (no, I’m not giving you the date).  She just celebrated her 30th year of either directing, performing, or both, with Civic Dance Center’s Nutcracker.  She has been teaching dance at Civic Dance Center for 22 years.  She is an award winning choreographer with a passion for ballet.  Ann also has a very strong Basque heritage and continued her dance and music training while attending many Basque music camps.  Ann has two beautiful daughters, Natalie and Chloe; a son, Christian; and her loving husband, Justin.  She is so excited to be included in the Dancing at the Stars family.
