Wayde & Marnie

Wayde Kirchenman (L) and Marnie Forzetting (R)

About Wayde Kirschenman: Wayde is a Bakersfield native. After graduated West High School, Wayde received an A.A. from Bakersfield College and a B.S. from Fresno State in Ag-Business. He is now a fourth-generation farmer, running the family farming business with his father, Wayne. Wayde is active in many industry organizations. He currently serves as a board member with the National Watermelon Association, the California Fresh Fruit Association, the Viticulture and Enology board at Fresno State and remains active in other local charities. Wayde’s parents, Wayne and Ginny were always good dancers and light on their feet. That gene did not transfer down to Wayde, however he is a lover of all sports including golf, skiing, scuba diving, four-wheeling, and all team sports including college football. Wayde and his wife, Dawn (Wayde says she is the most beautiful women he knows who is in her 50’s) have two children. Claire, a sixth-grader at Reagan Elementary, also a very accomplished dancer at Civic, has appeared in the Nutcracker several times, as well as MAD Dance. She is very excited to see her father to perform. Wayde’s son, Tyler, is a sophomore at Stockdale high school, plays basketball and loves all sports and cars. He is quite perplexed as to what the heck he is doing entering a dance competition. He would like to thank his dance partner, Marnie Forzetting, for getting him involved with this competition. He has known Marnie and her family for 40 years and has a lot of great memories. He wishes she would have not waited so long to teach him how to move his two left feet.

About Marnie Forzetting: Bio coming soon.
